Juice Box One Act Competition phase two

What a treat we have in store for you! Starting today and over the next few weeks LAKE SHORE CENTER FOR THE ARTS will be placing on this site, at this location, links to reader’s theater versions of all 20 of the qualifying plays for our JUICE BOX ORGANIC ONE ACT PLAY COMPETITION. Ultimately there will be links to 10 one act dramas and 10 one act comedies that have been selected. We will be adding 4 new plays every week until all 20 plays are available here.

These plays are being professionally recorded by our own Innovation Studio and are easy and enjoyable to listen to. From these 20 reader’s theater play presentations our judges will further eliminate 10 more plays to reach a final 5 dramas and 5 comedies. This will leave the top 5 overall dramas and top five comedies selected from the original 176 plays submitted which will then be cast as traditional performance plays and readied for live performance between May 25th, 26th and 27th during the live, final performances of the competition

Although we are not asking for your votes this round, audience members will be asked to vote at final live performances in May. We hope you will listen to these play offerings now to be better prepared to cast your votes in May!
